Επιστολή του κυβερνήτη και των μελών της Εταιρείας του Λεβάντε (Levant Company) (Λονδίνο, 10 Αυγούστου 1804) προς τον γραμματέα της Εταιρείας του Λεβάντε στην Κωνσταντινούπολη Stephen Maltass (Chancellor of the Levant Company) με την οποία τον ενημέρωναν για την απόφασή τους – ακολουθώντας οδηγίες της Βρετανικής Κυβέρνησης – να διοριστεί ο Isaac Morier Esq. ως γενικός πρόξενος στην Κωνσταντινούπολη για να αναλάβει όλες τις υποθέσεις της Εταιρείας, με τον πρεσβευτή να απασχολείται με τα πολιτικά μόνο ζητήματα.
