Abstract:

Σε αυτήν την επιστολή ο Whitworth αναφέρεται στον Ποτέμκιν και στις ετοιμασίες που κάνει στρατιωτικές και ναυτικές στον χώρο της Μαύρης Θάλασσας και πως αν δεν βρεθεί μία δύναμη να τους σταματίσει, τότε είναι πιθανό ο Ποτέμκιν να φτάσει μέχρι και την Πόλη, λόγω της αδυναμίας των Τούρκων.
