Abstract:

My Lord

….

A courier arrived a few days ago with an account of the taking of a fort on the Danube near Brailow. It does not appear that this is of any further importance than as it may tend to facilitate the future operations against that fortress.

I have the honour to be

With the greatest respect

My Lord

Your Graces

Most obedient and

Most humble Servant

Charles Whitworth

His Grace the Duke of Leeds etc etc etc
