Αναφορά του Φορέστη ως προς την κατανάλωση σιτηρών στην Ζάκυνθο και πως οι πηγές τροφοδοσίας ήταν ο Μωριάς και η Ρούμελη, στον βαθμό που το επέτρεπε η Τουρκία, η οποία συχνά επέβαλε απαγορεύσεις. Αναφέρεται και στην παραγωγή του νησιού και στις εισαγωγές από την Βενετία και στις τιμές των σιτηρών.
